Psychedemic wrote:They have been very linux-friendly in the recent past considering they don't officially support it. That's all I'm saying. If CCP wasn't doing things to help Wine users, you would most likely not be able to play the game at all. My point is, your argument Quote:we're paying customers and we expect to fly internet spaceships just like everyone else. is invalid, as it's not officially supported. You're paying for software made for Windows and OS X.
Not at all. Once, there was Linux Support: http://www.linuxgames.com/archives/11565 I'm new, but some friends are playing since the good old linux days. They have invested time and money, because the game was running on linux. So, it is not completley correct. If you remove a complete platform from your support-matrix, you would make the customers angry. So they decieded to offer alternatives: Run through wine. I would consider this as supported ( see the linked, official, mail from Arend St++hrmann. |

There is some movement in the windows thread to this topic:

At least it looks like CCP is looking for the source of the issue. So, lets hope it will our problems too. |

We should keep this thread close to the bug. For meta discussions about OpenGL: I have opened a thread in the Features Section: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=318940
Would be nice if you fill this one too ;) |

Sanxion wrote:Is it just me, or:
- The mouse scroll-wheel works in the opposite way you expect (forward / push is zoom out, back / pull is zoom in)
- There is no option to invert mouse up and down?
These are game-breakers for me, so much for getting the flickering fixed.
I can't seem to find any options to change these to my preference.
